The Vrtbovská Garden lures visitors with its lavishness

The famous Vrtbovská Garden is rightly considered to be the most beautiful Baroque garden of the Italian type. It is located in the heart of Prague in Lesser Town, together with other gardens, such as Vratislavská, Schönbornská and Lobkovická. The garden is unique in that it contains a number of well-known sculptures, but also for its extraordinary shape reminiscent of an arrow. When you step inside through the entrance gate, you'll meet the "guardians" of the garden. The statues of two female figures will amaze you with their majesty. You can spend some wonderfully relaxing moments at the whispering fountain surrounded by lush, flowering greenery.

Grébovka was inspired by the Italian Renaissance - and it shows everywhere you look. The garden offers unique views of the city of Prague, a display of sculptural art, a breathtaking fountain with a water cascade and tranquil lakes. There is a luxurious Neo-Renaissance villa in the area, and for variety, you can visit an artificially created cave that provides much desired cooling during the summer. The royal game reserve called Stromovka

Stromovka, the largest protected park, is well known not only among Praguers. Surrounded by the bustle of the Bubeneč district, yet quiet in its "interior". Historically, the garden has been open to the public since 1804. You'll find here a number of exotic trees, alleys of sizeable trees, memorial trees, plenty of ponds, but also a manor house and a planetarium or playgrounds, where your children can have great fun - safely and at a beautiful place. Take a bike, in-line skates or a picnic blanket with you (a stroller is okay too) and have a great day!
