Tom Ford and his Autumn Collection Inspired by 1980´s Fashion
Fashion full of colours and leopard prints which looks like outfits from the eighties.
A luxury fashion show, which took place at the New York Fashion Week was a great surprise. On the catwalk appeared models with tied-up hair, smoky make up and of course luxurious huge pearl earrings which could not be overlooked. About the clothing we like its playfulness which is sometimes over the top, but can catch attention and amuse.

We think the new autumn collection has some real zest. Maybe at first sight you will say that these outfits require a brave woman, but perhaps you cannot say no. The unique materials such as the shiny and daring sequins, fine translucent fabrics or fur. When you add it all up, you have the new collection of Tom Ford. Colourful and interesting animal prints, thick headbands, mini dresses, metallic leggings and also large fluffy jackets or coats, which will lend any outfit just the right amount of jest.
Shine like a real disco diva
Some of the luxury of pieces are subtle but others are over the top. One can say that anyone who would put on the clothes in the wildest combination, may look like a fool from a circus or as a colourful disco ball. Not everyone has the courage to dress in such fashion and Tom Ford kept that in mind.
The designer did not leave out classic simple fashion. But he probably had to force himself.
It seems that designer Tom Ford really had a good time putting together the new luxury Fall 2018 collection, letting his imagination run wild. Anyone who has seen the eighties will immediately recall the unique, colourful and courageous period when looking at the new models. Fortunately, there is also fashion here for women who love simple, subtle and classic outfits which do not shout the word ´extravagance´. The collection contains black elegant overalls which are recently very popular among women, black dresses jackets, coats and leggings.

Is the legging apocalypse making a comeback???
At other times modest Tom Ford really let his hair down with his last collection. I regard his past work as being tasteful and chic. However this mess reminiscing good old eighties is totally out of place.
Do you remember the time of about 2007/2008, when leggings started to be worn en bloc? Time passed by and sane people finally sighed with relief that they do not have to look at those squeezed almost-translucent belegginged bottoms all around. And what happens? Tom Ford wants this fashion apocalypse to return!
Dear ladies, avoid this collection like the plague! Firstly, the combination of neon-coloured stockings with animal print together with the same-patterned dress must light up the entire street more than a reflective vest on the D1 motorway (you DO NOT want that, do you?!). Secondly that multi-coloured fur with blue jump-suit material at the bottom was perhaps worn only by crazed Ivana Trump around Manhattan at the time when her senses left her during her divorce with Donald. The only thing that is somewhat wearable, is silver and black jacket with shoulder pads and deep V-neck. But let´s be honest: such a piece may be purchased in ordinary ZARA for a few quid. We don´t need Ford for that.
