Solitary houses deep in the desert are popular with both heroes, such as James Bond, and villains or mobsters, who prefer to run their shady business and organize crimes from secluded places. Action movie star Steven Seagal also chose a secluded mansion in the desert for his home - and lived there for over the years. Now, however, the actor has decided to sell his large estate in Scottsdale, Arizona, for 75 million crowns. We'll give you the opportunity to peek in through the keyhole and get a rare look at the inside of a house that functions almost as an impregnable fortress.

Seagal bought the property in 2010 for 77 million crowns. Built in 2001, the house is tucked into a slope, which makes it almost invisible, granting giving its owners all the privacy they might wish for. The estate offers amazing views of the desert mountain and the surrounding valley. It stretches over an area of 12 acres.

The building is a combination of natural stone, glass and copper elements. And the fact that this house was really made for bad guys (or rather as a protection against them) is confirmed by the bulletproof glass in its windows. That's why the mansion earned the nickname "bulletproof house".

As you enter the house, you will be greeted by two statues of samurai warriors, who seem to have been placed there to scare away unwanted guests.

The dominant feature is stone

The house owes its rough and impenetrable design to stone - excessive amounts of stone, to be precise! It is the most dominant feature both the exterior and interior, which includes 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Stretching over an area of 836 square meters, the mansion features, for example, a home cinema.

What we really like is how everything in the house goes together. The walls in the rooms are white, creating perfect harmony with the walnut-coloured wood, stone columns and tiles, which gives the house a unified rustic look. For some, it may seem a little boring, but as the saying goes - less is sometimes more. And in this case, it's doubly true!

The island-style kitchen is designed in the aforementioned walnut colour and comes equipped with a bar seating area and stainless steel appliances. Food junkies will appreciate the enormous area of the kitchen, which provides plenty of space for everything.

Bathtub in the middle of the room

Do you also belong to the people who enjoy baths in an open space? It is atypical and visually very effective. What's more, Steven Seagal could enjoy the view of the garden or admire the fiery resin mosaic on the headboard during his bath.

Supreme outdoor fun

Perhaps the greatest gem of the Arizona "cave" is the plot of land surrounding the house. The infinity pool that brings a unique desert view gets extra points from us, and the outdoor hot tub also promises a pleasantly spent bikini time. And if that's not enough, the house is in close proximity to six golf courses designed by Jack Signatur.

The action movie star may be getting rid of his stone kingdom, but according to the New York Post, he still owns properties in Colorado, Los Angeles, Louisiana and Russia, where he spends a large portion of his life.
