State-of-the-art technology wrapped in a luxurious design
The Beoplay 5 speaker has been designed in such a way as to create a harmonious whole with your interior. Place it to blend in or to stand out.
The design was created by the award-winning industrial designer from Denmark Cecilie Man. In it, she combines warm fabrics and cold aluminium, creating the perfect and visually stunning luxurious appearance. Speakers come in grey or in black. You can however choose your own colour to match your interior.
The fabric covers are manufactured for Bang & Olufsen by the Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat using the highest possible quality materials accompanied by expert craftsmanship. They are made from woollen fibres and carefully designed in such a way as to improve acoustics. This is the same material which is used for the covers of the Beoplay A6 and Beoplay A9 speakers.
Fine-tune your home system to the maximum
Beoplay M5 works separately or can be linked with other speakers over several rooms. Beoplay M5 supports Google Chromecast built-in and Beolink Multiroom technologies. You can also link individual speakers via Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay. The M5 thus constitutes a luxury accessory to your home system which can easily be combined with Beoplay A6 and Beoplay A9 speakers.
You can set up the Beoplay M5 with the aid of the Beoplay App, where you can also activate optimisation of the position to optimise the sound quality depending on whether the speaker is located in a corner, by the wall or in free space.
Luxury minimalist controls
The aluminium disc on the top of the Beoplay M5 is not only beautiful to look at and to touch, it is also highly functional. The speaker activates when you tap on the aluminium disc. Apart from this, the disc is also used to control the volume.
