Bogner has embarked on a bold project. Twenty years ago, it joined forces with the superb ski manufacturer INDIGO and together they created extremely high quality Bogner skis.
Over the past two years, the former world champion skier Frank Wörndl has worked tirelessly on developing the very best skis for Bogner. He set himself the objective of creating the perfect luxury skis for advanced and discerning skiers. Development of this concept together with INDIGO led to the birth of the Fineline range of skis.
Fineline skis are designed for slow deep snow and also for fast downhill runs on groomed slopes. The secret of their universality lies in their “full rocker” shape. This enables you to manage slow turns better because you don’t necessarily have to lean so much thanks to the shape of the skis. Thanks to the curved shape, you will also be able to easily perform faster turns on groomed snow.
Luxury skis from the Fineline range will be available in men’s and women’s versions. They are manufactured using very high quality material. The versions for fast downhill skiing on groomed slopes have a higher titanium content, whereas those for use in deep snow depend above all on laminate. The high-speed skis will be offered in elegant matte black and the skis for deep snow in pure white.
Development of the perfect skis requires strict testing. This year’s major test took place on the Hintertux Glacier with Frank Wörndl and a team of professional skiers and engineers.
The luxury new Bogner Fineline range will be presented at the ISPO conference in May 2017 and will be available for the next winter season. But you can already enjoy wearing luxury winter clothing from the Bogner Fire + Ice collection this season.
