Singletracks in Czech republic

Under the term singletrack you can imagine a terrain path, predominantly a forest one, which always leads only in one direction. And that is up as well as down - mainly down! This drive is intended for those who are not afraid of speed, or the often uneven terrain. And as you can see, young Czechs are not afraid!

Green for kids, black for pros!

If you are attracted by singletracks, remember to pay attention to the colour designation! All singletracks are colour-coded according to difficulty, similarly to ski slopes. Green is for complete beginners and even for children at balance bicycles or the disabled. This is the only route with a bi-directional operation and the path is wider. Blue is for moderately advanced and red for advanced users. Black is designated for professional and efficient bikers: This is for the most experienced riders only!

Singletrack pod Smrkem

The first singletrack in Bohemia was established as far back as in 2008 in the Jizerské Mountains - Singletrack pod Smrkem. Currently there is a total of about 80 km to be explored and there are tracks of all degrees of difficulty. The access point is in Nové Město pod Smrkem.

Trutnov trails

In nature in the vicinity of the city of Trutnov, you can find a relatively dense network of single tracks with different levels of difficulty. You can get on at the trailcentre Lhota u Trutnova and at the parking area Pod Sedmidomím. The route Pod Jeskyňkou may be enjoyed by the most enthusiastic riders since the 2 kilometres of the arduous terrain also involves the climbing of a historical staircase.

Špindl bike park

Also worth visiting is Špindlerův Mlýn, the complex of St. Peter. There is a total of 6 tracks prepared for you with artificial slopes, banked turns, jumps, bridges, but also with natural paths full of stones and overgrown roots.

Luxurious challenging terrain is also offered by tracks in Iceland, Great Britain, Peru, Hawaii and the Alps. We will set off there the next time!
