If you dreamed that you would be married and a mother of two by the age of 50, you may find the reality that this is not so quite frustrating. But observe through the eyes of popular author Candace Bushnell. A new deluxe book titled “Is There Still Sex and the City”, which shows that everything in life can be taken with humour, will appear on the market in August next year.
This appealing satire shows what it looks like when you fail to settle down, not even in middle age, and are left to the mercy of an internet dating site and forced to go on numerous dates. If you thought that dating apps are only a matter for millennials, Candace Bushnell will disabuse you of this idea.
In her new book the author also draws on her personal experience. She divorced ballet dancer Charles Askegard in 2012 after ten years of marriage and, with her own distinctive humour, she explains how using the popular Tinder application to get acquainted worked.
The first “Sex In The City” book was written over 20 years ago. Due to its success it was made into a deluxe series and film shortly afterwards. Can “Is There Still Sex In The City” expect the same future?
Let’s wait and see what happens. But one thing is certain, the stars Miranda, Samantha, Charlotte and Carrie are the ideal age and it would be a sin to throw this opportunity away when the fans of “Sex In The City” love them so much!
