Sarah Jessica Parker and her Children´s Collection for GAP
The luxurious and affordable fashion brand, Gap Kids and beautiful actress Sarah Jessica Parker have joined forces to create a beautiful limited-edition collection that will grabs you by the heart strings and thrill you at the same time. The collection entitled GAP X SJP is only available in GAP stores and we are not very sure for how long it will be available. It is very likeable indeed!

In her fashion creation, Sarah is also influenced by her childhood memories
The luxury GAP X SJP collection originated through love of Sarah Jessica Parker for fashion as well as children. The actress grew up with her seven siblings in Cincinnati and thanks to ties and family relationships she grew up into an amazing woman. Her childhood memories too, play an important role in the way she designs the clothes and thinks. In her family clothes used to be handed down and not that new ones were constantly bought. The actress adheres to that to this day.
"My Mummy always had a clear idea about how we should look like when we left the house. Even though we did not have a lot of money, she always wanted us to look presentable."
The pieces from the luxury children´s collection are really adorable. The main theme here is a drawing of a bunny and other associated motifs. You may say that this is fashion which will be fun just for a moment, but the collection is timeless - bunny brings happiness. The handbag, t-shirts and other models are simply cute and the children will be thrilled. Of course there are other motifs too, such as coloured flowers reminiscent of a spring blossoming meadow.
The actress thought about practicality of the clothes as well as the accessories
Because Sarah herself is mother too, she knows how it is with children´s clothing. It needs to be practical! All the luxury pieces are therefore designed so that putting them on would be as simple as possible, making it easy for the parents and children, too.

The 70´s with a drop of child-like cuteness
My favourite actress and mother of three children, Sarah Jessica Parker, surprisingly does not just design her own shoe collections in the style of Manhattan ladies.
"When we first started talking about a children´s collection, I hoped that we could use a little from the things that we had worn at home as young children. My Mother kept almost all the clothes and saved it to this day," said Sarah Jessica Parker.
Many of the pieces consequently have a sentimental tone of the 70's with a considerable dose of cuteness on top. I very much appreciate the practicality, on which Sarah placed so much emphasis. All of the clothing items are designed so that the daily morning dressing up does not turn into a struggle for survival...smoothly does it. Personally, with my very lively son Quentin I give it my thumbs up and applaud, 1000%!!!
My TOP tips? Certainly the unisex striped T-shirt with a bunny, beige shorts, pink-blue checked shirt, light-blue quilted jacket with flowers and finally the cute girly dress with frills. In short, luxurious cuteness for a reasonable kind of money. As far as I am concerned, GAP has nailed it!
