The Designblok brought us a stunning three-day marathon of fashion shows with thirty-two shows among which was the amazing fashion designer Miro Sabo. He presented his romantic collection SS19 at the biggest show of design and fashion in Central Europe. What do the luxurious models have to offer?
Slovak designer Miro Sabo has not disappointed this time either. At Designblok he presented a gentle romantic collection with features from ancient history. In fact, the Baroque impact, which was manifested in collections around the world, is evident at first glance.
We like how the collection is beautifully relaxed but also sexy. Especially women who love comfort and airiness will take fancy to it. Simple, light-weight dress with a bohemian touch thanks to floral embroidery and bell-shaped sleeves pinned over the wrist simple breathe the words comfort and airiness.
You can choose a luxurious dress with length according to your style. Would you rather have short, medium or long? You can wear all the variants in the spring! In addition, each cut offers a different pattern, whether it is pure white, pale blue, or multi-coloured shades representing abstract patterns.
Romance and relaxation are broken up by long coats that perfectly emphasize the slender female waist. You will appreciate them in the spring, since the cold spring mornings are treacherous. They are decorated with frills or balloon cut, which makes them unique. Even if shirt sleeves are longer than the coat sleeves, the look is still stylish.
Luxury classic hats may never come out of fashion and thank god for them. They can give the look the right zest and, in particular, can perfectly hide your hair. So if you don’t have time to create a hairstyle, take a hat and there you go!
The young and talented Miro Sabo really pulled off his presentation at this year's Designblok. His collection SS19 is airy, romantic and somewhat reminds me of the movie "Starci na chmelu" (1964).
The miniskirts were the most famous feature of the 1960s. Looking at a nice long-legged girl is always worth it. Since I myself have a pair of long legs, but I still struggle with abdominal part, I appreciate shirt-like white mini dress with balloon sleeves and black lace as the main decoration. And where do you wear something like that? A date, coffee with a friend in a spring garden or maybe a visit to a gallery. There are no limits here.
Another element of the show that took my eye, was an unexpected addition in the form of a suede hat which is definitely a must-have this year’s and next year’s season. You can take it anywhere in universal black, dark blue or white colour. And Miro Sabo certainly knew this very well in his design! Congratulations Miro!
