Refined, Luxurious and Shimmering Haute Couture of Zuhair Murad
"I have great respect for original cultures. We would not be here without them. They left behind a wonderful heritage of art and beauty," said Zuhair Murad before the beginning of his spectacular collection which took everyone´s breath away.
It was the culture of native America which provided him with great inspiration for his SS 2018 Haute Couture collection.

Luxurious and detailed embellishments which make sense
The great fashion designer, Zuhair Murad, dresses celebrities such as Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez for the red carpet. In his Haute Couture collection he expressed respect for ancient cultures, using amazing decorations, which bejewel his beautiful evening or wedding dresses. Symbols as well as visual vocabulary of native American cultures, in particular Sioux, Navajos and Iroquois, have been combined to create geometric pictograms, so that beautiful female forms on red, white, gold and black are beautifully accentuated.
Dresses reminiscent of Indian summer
However, the dresses presented by the designer are not intended for just any woman. Their details are decorated by feathers, stones and fine fabrics, giving them an airy aspect. For Haute Couture collection this subject represented a great challenge and risk at the same time, but the designer simply wished to try out his ideas. The embroidery and embellishments of the clothes look luxuriously and interesting; in all the colour variants used in this collection. The most beautiful and most interesting is probably a red A-shape dress.
The luxurious dress that really stands out
What we have to pay a tribute to is the designer´s sense for detail that might even be a little kitschy. Even so, his dresses are spectacular because every woman will feel exceptional and unique. Whether it be the delicate silver dress with luxuriously embroidered symbols or the black one, that just exudes Indian culture. Or do you think that you could do with the red dress which looks like gentle little flames or the gold one that makes an impression of an irresistible sunset?

So much beauty in one place is seen very rarely indeed!
Native Indian Haute Couture of Zuhair Murad took my breath away completely! Nowadays so much beauty in one place is seen on catwalks very rarely indeed! Do you know that kind of comments like “I would kill for those boots!” and so on? The minute I saw those incredibly sexy and perfectly-fitting models, I thought to myself that this could be worth a little insurance fraud!
I am not sure I am able to choose the one, most beautiful dress. However, my attention was definitely caught by a charcoal black one with high collar, a deep drop neckline, a train and inconspicuous trousers within. The abundance of rhinestones further accentuated the overall charge! I give it 100%! Well suitable for a dinner or noble party in the style of black luxury.
To conclude, I must not leave out the pure white gown with feather-embellished shoulders. I have never seen anything like it, I couldn´t take my eyes off it! They are so wonderful that one could wear it as a bridal outfit! Zuhair should get a NOBEL PRIZE for this collection! BRAVO!
