This very stylish two-story bar in Dušní Street is not just for lovers of wings that can lift high up into the air. The decor of the top floor - Pilot’s Lounge - was inspired by the boom in civil aviation, headed by PAN AM in the 1940s to 1960s. It was the first airline to start flying across the Atlantic Ocean, with flight attendants to care for passengers. Flights were expensive back then, and only the wealthiest could afford them. The interior comprises enamelled advertising signs for destinations offered by the airline, and the body of a Clipper aircraft. You can order coffee, selected dishes and original cocktails.
The bottom section of Hangar Club is a tribute to Hollywood pilots and acrobats, military pilots from World War II and aviation mechanics. This period is recalled by aircraft engines located behind the bars. Come here to enjoy the unrestrained atmosphere and barman show, which takes place all night long.
