Bar and Books can be found at two locations in Prague: in Mánesova Street in the Vinohrady district and in Týnská Street in Old Town. Bar and Books in Týnská Street was the first non-American branch of the eponymous New York chain, while the one in Mánesova Street was opened four years later. Both venues have a unique charm. The Vinohrady establishment is accessed by a small red door, which opens onto a pleasant interior dominated by a bar across the entire width of the space. The luxurious interior will leave you in no doubt that the offer of cocktails and whiskeys will be superb. Most days in the month, you can also attend an interesting event: for instance whisky tasting, film screenings or live music. Every Monday, ladies get a complimentary cigar on the house with a glass of wine, whisky or cocktail.
