Michal Dvořák s Piercem Brosnanem.

When Michal Dvořák, a founding member of the legendary Czech band Lucie, sets his mind on something, it sees it through no matter what. And one day, he once decided to get the legendary Agent 007 James Bond Pierce Brosnan for his project - a world music show with a story. Although he had been waiting for the Hollywood star for two years and it cost him a fortune, it paid off. Tomorrow, you can experience the storytelling art of the American actor yourself, in Vivaldianno Reloaded in Letňany.

The captivating 3D multimedia show sold out the O2 arena last year; this is your second chance to see it in the Czech Republic.

"We had to wait for him two whole years. He liked Tomáš Belko's script, but then he didn't have time, because he started filming Mamma Mia 2, traveling the world for a year, so it took a really long time for us to reach him,"

Michal Dvořák explained for LP-life.com, adding that the wait had paid off.

"It was December 11, 2018, and his agent wrote us that we should be in LA in a week, order a studio in Santa Monica, send a limousine for him, and the recording could commence,"

he recounts with a laugh.

Brosnan is a professional

Today, Dvořák doesn't care anymore that it was a problem to procure so many tickets to America a week before Christmas, and that one day of recording in the studio in Santa Monica cost him more than a month's rent in Barrandov.

"It was a rollecoaster ride, but it worked out in the end. Pierce arrived absolutely prepared, he's simply a professional, top class. He made ten versions of each recording, and even asked if we were satisfied,"

he explains.

Will the Czechs get to Broadway?

Brosnan was so excited about Vivaldianna that he kept asking when he would see the show on Broadway. And Dvořák confirmed to LP-life.com that he had actually discussed about performing it in the heart of the cultural life in New York and LA before the coronavirus epidemic. Unfortunately, everything had to be put on hold. Due to that, the Vivaldianna team is glad they can play at least here, in the Czech Republic, where they had completely sold out the O2 arena last year.

Vivaldiana on world tour

The unique show combines music, 3D videos, dance, a light show and lasers in a story of the genius of baroque music Antonio Vivaldi. Michal Dvořák's project has already conquered the greatest concert halls in the world - London, Budapest, Seoul, Buenos Aires or Moscow. 150,000 spectators in three dozen world capitals have seen the show so far. Together with Michal and the voice of agent 007, thirty renowned local as well as foreign artists from the ranks of musicians and dancers will shine in PVA Expo Prague, among them Terezie Kovalová, Martina Bačová or Jiří Vodička and others. Pierce Brosnan portrayed James Bond in a total of four films between the years 1995 and 2002.
