Patricia Solaříková expanded her portfolio and jointly with talented designer, Dominik Navrátil, who this year dresses inter alia winners of Miss Czech Republic contest when they are to participate in Miss World, presented the unique PSXDN collection in Prague restaurant, Prostor. The design duo was assisted by familiar faces from among models, singers, actresses, but also presenters.
Seven stylish and at the same time comfortable outfits, from casual clothes to luxury evening gowns, were presented by Mariana Prachařová, Monika Leová, Iva Uchytilová, Andrea Košťálová, Šarlota Frantinová, Radka Pavlovčinová and Patricia Solaříková.
Tiny Mariana Prachařová on the catwalk was dwarfed by all of her colleagues, she on the other hand she scored full points with everyone because of her extravagant and trendy look. Dark lipstick and a longer page boy haircut, dyed pink was complemented by a simple printed cotton T-shirt with dark-blue sweatpants, the easy comfort of which pointed out Patricia herself.
The guests were taken through the luxurious fashion show by young presenter, Jakub Kotek, and presenter and theatre manager, Hana Gregorová, also played her part. In its conclusion, smiling Patricia handed over a bouquet to her production manager, Kristýna Schmitzerová, who had literally the lion's share in the entire organisation of the fashion show.
And what kind of accolade will the design duo obtain from the mouth of Luxury Prague Life? PSXDN contains some great outfits, and it would be a shame if this luxurious achievement was the first and the last!
The summery PSXDN collection from Dominik Navrátil and Patricia Solaříková probably surprised everyone who heard of it. It is not quite so long ago that Patricia was considered as a member of all sorts of fashion police units in our country. On the other hand, the greater the enthusiasm she now reaps for this change.
The collection breathes fresh laid-back feel, but with a large share of classic elegance. That´s roughly how one could describe it in short. Most of all I like the romantic white/blue dress, off shoulder and with delicate frills. Surely we have seen something like that a million times over...but it is simply a type of a dress one just doesn´t get tired of. An ideal matter for a Sunday brunch or lazing about in garden restaurants in the Prague centre.
But the disappointment came paradoxically in case of models that are to (probably) create a very sophisticated look. We are talking here about the grey/blue dress with some kind of plain lace at the top part, supplemented by a bow. Despite the fact that the make up a hair of the actress was first class, the dress nevertheless made her look like mutton dressed as lamb, and that is a disaster. Moreover, the detail of the dress is so poor that it makes almost a cheap impression…
