Brady started dating Gisele shortly after his breakup with actress Bridget Moynahan, but only two and a half months later Bridget announced that she was expecting Brady's baby. Bündchen was so upset by the announcement that she considered ending the relationship so that he could return to the pregnant Moynahan. In the end, the famous model decided to stay with the athlete and Moynahan gave birth to a boy in August 2007. Today, Bündchen describes the boy as her "bonus child". This successful couple then had two children together, a son and a daughter.

In 2014, he married Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union, whom he met in 2007 at a sponsored Super Bowl party. At that time, the basketball player was married to Siohvaughn Funches and the famous actress was already divorced. Their relatinship didn't start until 2009 and they first appeared together in public in July 2010, right on the red carpet of the Summer Groover Charity event. At that point, Wade had been divorced for a month and brought his two children into the new relationship, Gabrielle becoming their stepmother. In 2013, they broke up and Wade fathered his youngest son Xavier with another woman. A year later, Dwyane returned to Gabrielle and asked her to marry him.
