Going to the seaside is no longer mandatory, if you want to discover the beauty of the ocean. Now you have the opportunity to live in a luxurious-looking house, or rather shell. It is an ecological project, in which the environment is on the first place. Eco-houses are one of today's trends and are experiencing a real “boom”. Would you like to know what the interior might look like? And should one be afraid of claustrophobia?
If you're into modern architecture, enthusiastic about ecology or simply not a fan of wastage, this is going to make you excited. Italian architect Wafai came up with a new solution for modern living. He uses an environmental and sustainable approach in building residential projects to minimize interference with nature in general. He relies on passive cooling, the natural flow of sunlight, as well as reused and recycled materials. The desire to minimize the carbon footprint is his driving force - and you have to admit he's achieved amazing results.
Its distinctive charm definitely owes to the elaborate appearance of the object. The house is based on an existing species of shell, the Junonia. Its main structure is made of wooden frames, the sheath is composed of recycled wood from various sources, each piece of which is an original and has a specific shade. Everything is arranged to create an exciting pattern and effect. In short, a real feast for the eyes.
The interior of the house is characterized by a minimalist color design and generous size. You won't suffer from claustrophobia here. In fact, you'll be surprised how much the architect managed to fit in! The one-storey house is basically composed of three parts. The living area includes a kitchen, a dining area and a living room. What shouldn't escape your attention in this area is the grand sofa facing a large circular window. Just imagine yourself resting here with a cup of your favorite café in your hand, watching the life outside. What a nice mental picture, right? Suddenly, you wish you could stop the time. Next comes the sleeping area, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The last part is the outdoor area, which is complemented by a swimming pool and a relaxation zone.
You won't even lack a garden. That's right, the living area and the master bedroom boast not one, but two courtyard gardens.
