If there's anyone who knows their stuff, it's Zuzana Kubíčková, who's not afraid to make more complicated models that require absolute precision and professionalism.

"For the longest time I've been drawn to the thought of being able to explore traditional elements of women's fashion. The blazer is the high point of one's tailoring skills, because making it involves great technical skill and adept craftsmanship. By the way a blazer is made you can immediately tell who you're dealing with."

Feminine curves have the green light and padding is making a comeback

This is the spirit of the entirety of the luxurious Couture 2020 collection containing 15 models. So don't expect any formless cuts or muted colors! These models show off refined feminine shapes with cinched waist and accentuated hips. Even those who love canvas and paddings will be delighted - these are making a comeback with Zuzana Kubíčková!

You'll shine in the office as much as at a party

The collection is dominated mainly by various shades of purple and pink, ranging from scarlet to candy pink. Blue and yellow ochre have their place here as well.

As far as materials are concerned, Couture 2020 is dominated by wool crepe, high-shine organza, translucent nylon or velvet. Zuzana Kubíčková went wild here and there and even used sequins. Therefore you can head out not only to a business negotiation, but also to a party wearing her models, and make an impression.

Luxury Prague Life Favorite

The one model that we really love is the purple maxi dress with an over-the-shoulder blazer - we want this in our wardrobe! Zuzana Kubíčková demonstrated that she's a master in her field and we're looking forward to her next collection, it will undoubtedly be worth it!

I have to admit that I consider Zuzana Kubíčková to be one of the most talented young Czech female designers of all time. Her models are always ethereal and sexy at the same time. They reveal a lot, but never seem vulgar. Quite the opposite. Zuzana often creates models that resemble sensual, lightweight spider webs. At the spring Fashion Week she presented her collection in the form of an exhibition in the rooms of the Four Seasons hotel, and this non-traditional form of fashion show is what she brought to the industrial space at Karlín Invalidovna as well.

She approached Couture 2020's presentation as a glance into the inner workings of a tailor's workshop, where she works with the element of the women's blazer. That appears in the collection in a very feminine version of an almost traditional women's suit, as a two-row closure on a skirt, but also on a gorgeous button-up dress, for example.

The queen of underwear

When I think of Zuzana I mostly think of beautiful underwear and I'm glad that this element that is so typical for her isn't missing from the collection. This time she mostly used it in the form of corsets, which is really beautiful. It's clear that she used a corset as the base for the powder pink dress that is definitely my personal favorite in this entire collection.

At first glance it appears to be the utmost bottom layer worn under some sort of a fancy historical gown, on the other hand I love how the precise execution of the corsetry manages to shape one's body. I confess, under no duress, I'd wear every single model out of the Couture 2020 collection... (ok, I could use some extra fabric to go with the nude corset and sequin panties...) But aside from that, this is one of her best collections for me.

A message to all women

And just so I don't forget, the presentation of models inside glass cases is an idea that I adore. Mostly because it adequately presents the beautiful details of the collection that represents high fashion truly marvelously. For me, this collection has one particular message, that being that every woman should have one perfectly fitting piece in her closet. Be it a tailored blazer, or a perfect cocktail dress.
