The grand opening of the new commercial zone took place at the Václav Havel Airport
The new commercial zone spreads out on an area of 2200 m², and you can find 6 shops and one restaurant with a unique concept, that hasn’t been seen yet in the Czech Republic. Although the zone has been open since December, only now in January was the ribbon ceremoniously cut by the chairman of the Prague Airport board of directors Václav Řehoř and the representatives of shops and restaurants, right on Terminal 2.
New boutiques with luxury clothes and accessories have opened
Among the newly opened shops you will find 3 stores with fashion, The Fashion Place, which sells brands such as Long Champ, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren or Boss. Furthermore, you will also have the opportunity to buy luxury handbags and other accessories from the Italian brand Coccinelle, which you will find inside a beautiful boutique.
Hamleys in Travel Format concept
Located nearby are the smiling toys of the legendary toy store Hamleys. The store at the Václav Havel Airport is the first of its kind in Central Europe. Dan Chytil, the Director of Operations of Hamleys, revealed the following about the range of products you’ll be able to find there:
“Products for the shop are chosen in such a way, that you could choose them last minute.”
Let your body and mind indulge in luxury in the shop Rituals, and the restaurant Marché
Also the luxury brand cosmetics store Rituals is „tailored to the requirements of customers travelling through the Schengen zone“. You can find unique products there, and you’ll even be given a hand massage and offered tea or water.
We were absolutely taken by the restaurant Marché, and its truly delicious food, which the chefs prepared right in front of our eyes. Fanastic meals, untraditional pizzas, great coffee, and even freshly made juices – this is the kind of cuisine, that will guarantee that you won’t be going anywhere else from now on!

This project is the biggest extension of the commercial areas Terminal 2 has undergone since its opening in 2006, and soon there will also be a children’s corner added to the area.
