As usual, this designer won our hearts by the magnificent maxi dresses, of which he is the king. We always follow his haute couture collections with bated breath and this one for SS19 is no different. It has a smaller number of evening gowns this time round, but they are all the more stunning. They are sophisticated; fantastic amount of care went to the smallest of details.

Elie Saab opened up his fashion show by a flood of white models, subsequently replaced by a wave of flowers, lace, stripes and bold designs. The luxury collection of SS19 displays a whole range of colours, clearly dominated by timeless black.

Elie Saab presented charming models full of spectacular shimmer in which you as sure to be completely dazzling! Sequins are the key element in the SS19 collection and a feeling of luxury is lent to the models also by full-bodied skirts, metallic effects or luxury organza with a holographic effect.

In addition to these pieces the Lebanese designer also presented more understated pieces in the form of elegant suits and costumes. For women he prepared not only simple white shirts in combination with relaxed-cut trousers, or black cocktail dresses, but also a sensual corset with shoulder straps in conjunction with slim pants and delicate strappy shoes. Sophistication? Elie Saab could have coined the word!

Even in such a luxury collection, such as Elie Saab SS19, there are a few pieces which we would prefer to leave out for just trying too hard. These include the asymmetric dress with leopard print or the black, sequinned dress, a deep décolletage and a long train. But over the others, featuring romantic flowers or sophisticated elegance, we rejoice. We will leave it to those who know best!

Perhaps the dream of every fashion enthusiast is a tiny seat at Elie Saab´s fashion show. What is more? The Elie Saab haute couture itself!!! In short, you are betting on certainty, that will never disappoint. And, of course, this is also true for the SS19. Is Louis Vuitton setting the trends of the next season? Hardly.
My clear winner is a black semi-sheer dress, where the model has a sexy black body over which she is shrouded in delicately embroidered luxury tulle. The deep V-neck firmly guarding all the sensitive areas in combination with shorter high boots, which are for such an outfit quite unusual: this will excite the imagination of absolutely everyone! In my opinion a "DRAMA QUEEN” dress. If you get an invitation defining a black-tie dress code, this is it!
Moreover, my attention was caught by the black overall with fine floral decoration and a crossover behind the neck. Not only perfect for evening exploration of the city, but I think it is also suitable for everyday business occasions. Who would not wish to be regarded as irresistibly sexy boss?
