Royal Game Preserve - luxurious greenery

In the 19th century it was renamed to Stromovka. But note that it is not only the trees, that make this site so exceptional and appealing. It is located in Praha-Bubeneč and today has the form of an English park, situated around a summer palace. Both sights are protected cultural monuments and the Stromovka park was opened to public in 1804.

Walks in Stromovka park are romantic during any season of the year. Couples may find a number of hidden romantic corners and benches; sports enthusiasts on the other hand have enough space for jogging or cycling. Also beneficial is a walk to restore peace of your mind, when you let your senses relax. Just listen to bird songs and the music of wind in branches of the omnipresent greenery. Green is a soothing colour for the eyes. So let´s et out, into nature, to Stromovka!

A truly lively park

This is evidenced by the large number of visitors here; amounting to around four million of in-line skaters, cyclists, mothers with prams, and similar. Besides the fact that serves for recreational and sports purposes or cultural events, it is important also from the point of its arboreal composition. Children may learn to identify generally-known trees, but also the less known, such as ginkgo biloba, white oak and a number of ornamental cherry species. For children the complex offers a well-maintained, certified playground.
