Opening ceremony in the spirit of a luxurious gastronomic experience
The opening ceremony took place in the baroque Clam -Gallas palace on Friday 31. 8. 2018. Visitors drank MUMM champagne and the catering services provided first-class SOHO restaurant.
MBPFW is to lend the Clam-Gallas Palace a new look
The Prague Fashion Week take place, just as it did last year, in the luxurious Clam-Gallas Palace. However, the inspirational areas will his time round show the MBPFW from a completely new angle. The entrance will be directed to the other side of the building and the catwalk, halls, lounges and the café bar will also have a different layout.
Fashion show days? Put down in your diaries the dates of 1. 9 - 4. 9. 2018.
The fashion shows will run for four days during which fifteen Czech and Slovak designers, brands and two university studios will present their luxury SS19 collections. The premises of Clam-Gallas Palace are to welcome Adam Kost, Denisa Nová, Michael Kováčik, Pavel Brejcha, Tereza Vu, ALTER ERA, CHATTY, LAFORMELA, Martin Kohout, Dominika Kozáková, trio of Lukáš Krnáč, Vivien Babicová and Kristýna Coufalová, Blažek, Nehera and students of UTB and UMPRUM.
The fashion show of Zuzana Kubíčková is to be seen in Rudolfinum, Jana Černý at Letná park.
Courageous fashion from Europe as well as Asia
The September edition of MPBFW furthermore brings the creation of ten foreign designers. On the catwalk are inter alia to appear the extravagant Spanish brand, Outsiders Division, fashion collection of selected graduates in the Dutch College ArtEZ or four graduates of Tokyo fashion university, Bunka Fashion Graduate University (BFGU).
This year, too, MBPFW keeps the general public in mind
This time round, too, MBPFW prepared a rich programme, which includes events freely accessible to general public. Are you a fashion professional or are you considering a career in the fashion world? Then you should not miss the FUTURE FASHION WORKSHOP focusing on clothing materials of the future, which will take place on 3. 9. from 11 to 15 hours in MatériO Prague in Prague 6.
