Last year, drinks were served in Karlovy Vary for the Alsa foundation, whose face is top model Daniela Peštová. This year, she was replaced by the beauty queen of 2007 Kateřina Sokolová. She created the AutTalk foundation herself, because her younger brother was born with autism.
Fundraisers for charity projects are organised every year within the Karlovy Vary film festival. But this was only the second year to see a toast to charity at the Summer Moët Lounge in the presence of numerous celebrities, including festival president Jiří Bartoška. “My little brother Ráďa has an assistant who takes care of him,” admitted Sokolová.
The charity event was inspired by Hollywood film stars. For every celebrity that toasts to the health and fame of the Karlovy Vary festival, Moët makes a contribution to the AutTalk foundation. It has already been supported by Daniela Peštová, Pavol Habera, Hana Vagnerová, Vlastina Svátková, Nikol Kouklová, Alena Mihulová, Nikol Švantnerová, Zuzana Belohorcová and other personalities.
On the terrace of Thermal Hotel, anybody can buy a Moët Mini (20 cl) bottle throughout the entire festival week. An iconic Moët “signature” bottle with a volume of 600 cl is also available, embellished with the signatures of the attending film stars. This year, it had the honour of being signed by Oscar-winning actor Tim Robbins. This bottle is designated for the person who supports the AutTalk foundation with the highest sum.
The AutTalk charity foundation supports everything that helps families care for children with autism.
