You can travel in time, just choose the right frilly boots, wide bell-bottoms, big shoulders, bright lurex, and metallic fashion that evokes years of the past.
Sexy mini dresses, high heels, sequins and pearls – a luxurious outfit for one of the contemporary parties in the city center. Comfortable fashion with tropical and Hawaiian motifs into the suitcase for your next vacation or stylish bits with timeless stripes and a checkered pattern for all occasions. With the Resort 2019 collection you will literally travel in time!
The hit which has slowly but surely returned in recent years is bell-bottoms. This time, however, big shoulders are added to them, which the luxurious Balmain brand has abundantly included in Resort 2019. So come on, don't be afraid to say YES to volume!
Sexy mini dresses are a piece that has an unwavering place in the Balmain collections. We are not surprised, in the myriad of novelties and often courageous creations, they are a certainty that will never fail. In his 8 years of work at Balmain, Creative Director Olivier Rousteing has learned to fine-tune the seductive mini dress to the last detail, making it an indispensable must-have piece.
The playful campaign Resort 2019 includes a trio of blonde angels who presented the luxurious pieces of Balmain on one of the parking building roofs in Paris. And which beauties did Olivier Rousteing choose for his campaign? Merely eighteen-year-old model from Italy Giulia Maenza, nineteen-year-old Elle Rattigan from the USA, and twenty-two-year-old Kirstin Liljegren from Denmark. The Creative Director was digital artist Pascal Dangin, as in recent years.
Balmain has once again proven with its luxurious collection Resort 2019 that it is not among the top brands by accident, and receives a thumbs up from us for the perfect contrast full of sexy models!
There are really few brands where almost every model is wearable and imaginative at the same time. If you browse the entire collection, you have a full imaginary shopping cart in the first two minutes!
One of the best models of the collection are the golden bell-bottoms with a loose golden top, which is something between a T-shirt and sweatshirt: pure, seductive and quite comfortable at first glance. And from what I have noticed, gold is really POPULAR now! In addition, my favourites include a striped overall with long sleeves and a Balmain Paris sign on the chest. It's so French, cute, and that giant slit on the pant leg is an amazing idea! I have not seen a similar combination of cut and pattern. And to tell the truth, this can be worn anywhere. Maybe even to an outdoor party on a cooler summer day, or maybe to the office on a regular Monday. Now I actually realize that it reminds me of the little Parisian design of Carrie Bradshaw!
The only thing that didn't like was the passage with the motif of a cheap palm tree from posters, and pants that look like they were made from aluminum foil. And the boleros with the giant sleeves, too?! This was supposed to stay buried deep in the 80s...
