The band originated in 2001 in Montreal and its music is very unique. Although it is frequently classified as a rock and pop band, you can also hear elements of punk, chanson and other styles in its songs. The band’s members are very musically talented and the portfolio of its styles is constantly expanding, which is also why it has fans worldwide.

Funeral was a crucial album

The band’s first album Funeral from 2004 registered great success and was even nominated for a Grammy award in the Vest Alternative Album category. It was thanks to this excellent album that the entire world knows about this band. At the time the album was released TIME magazine said that Canada should be grateful to this album, because it put Canada back on the “world music map”.

Summary and invitation to the deluxe concert

Arcade Fire has released a total of 5 albums. The band has received a Grammy Award (Album of the Year – Suburbs 2010) and a Brit Award (International Band and International Album – Suburbs, 2011). The band has a total of 6 members: husband and wife Win Butler and Will Butler, Régine Chassagne, Jeremy Gara, Tim Kingsburry and Richard Reed Parry.

And the most important information last of all: the band will be performing in Prague on 15 June! Don’t miss their deluxe concert!

How to win? In order to participate in the competition you must meet the following requirements:

• The participants agree to the processing of personal data for the duration of the competition as well as upon its termination.

• The winners shall be announced on 1. 5. 2018, the lunch shall take place on 31.5.2018. In the event that a prize fails to be collected due to unavailability of the winner during the lunchtime hours, there will be an additional prize draw and another winner shall be selected.

• The promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the prize if the Facebook profile does not belong to a real person or if the winner proves to be a criminally prosecuted person.

• The promoter reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any time or to amend its rules.

• The promoter reserves the right not to hand over a prize in the event that the information provided during the registration does not match the ID card details presented during collection of the prize.
