Na Poříčí, which has carried its name since 1894, is a significant Prague street where there are several architecturally interesting houses. The names of the old pubs from this street have been preserved to this day: U Labutě – still today, the Bílá labuť (White Swan) shopping center – built between 1938 and 1939 by the Brouk and Babka factory and architects Josef Kittrich and Josef Hrubý, U Rozvařilů, where the E.F. Burian Theater was situated, or the well-known pub U Bucků, where Josef Gočár created a remarkable building in the years 1921-1923, similar to the Riunione Adriatica building on Jungmannovo náměstí.

Nowadays, Na Poříčí is one of the liveliest streets of the New Town.
