It’s not so long ago that the sequel to the successful film Kingsman appeared in cinemas. Many of us loved the film not only because of the main character, but also because of the luxurious outfits for modern gentlemen! We have some good news for you. The director of the film Matthew Vaughn, costume designer Arianne Phillips and MR PORTER have joined forces to create the exclusive KINGSMAN brand.
This collaboration has resulted in exclusive items, which emphasise British heritage. You can order them online or visit the first boutique in London, which opened in September and immediately became a popular tourist destination. One of the most striking pieces featured in the shop display is Eggsy’s orange tuxedo, in which you will be unmistakeable in a crowd. Don’t feel bold enough for orange? Reach for the more modest, but equally luxurious black or blue!
The range of tuxedos in which you can ring in the New Year or shine on another occasion is vast! You can choose from extravagant pieces by Gucci, made of luxurious shiny materials, Jacquard fabrics and unconventional patterns – the mighty tiger or romantic blossoms. If the event requires a less extravagant outfit, reach for luxury brands that remain loyal to a more formal style – Hugo Boss, Brunello Cucinelli, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford or Ermenegildo Zegna
And don’t forget what Harry Hart, played by popular actor Colin Firth, said in the film Kingsman:
Mr. Porter, Men in Black, James Bond: Ah, men and their suits! Kingsman and his tuxedos in all sorts of colours totally got me. Let’s admit it, what can be better than a man dressed in a perfectly fitted suit?
I personally love the touch of the Sixties in the Mr. Porter collection, featuring the Shawl lapel, especially because the designers were not afraid to use bright colours and patterns. A red suede jacket for a business meeting? Why not?! A classic jacket in a colour other than black certainly doesn’t make somebody an unreliable business partner.
The sexiest suit of all is definitely the black one with the suede jacket and black patent shoes by Thom Sweeney. If I saw my husband in that, I would probably go crazy with delight. Finally, I have to point out the original monogramed moccasins by Ralph Lauren. They definite attract attention to bare male ankles. I personally find that a very arousing element!
