New York – the city that never sleeps!
Among the most striking pieces in the collection are the black suede Maine 100 shoes. This luxurious pair features a heel embellished with multi-coloured gemstones, and Cara herself admits that they are her favourites: “I think they really represent New York, full of colours and night lights. New York is the city that never sleeps, and these are perfectly comfortable, wearable shoes.”
Sensuality, confidence, luxury: a campaign charged with emotion
The luxurious collection of pumps, boots and sneakers was presented by successful top model Cara Delavingne, who in addition to modelling also works as an actress, which she much prefers. In her opinion, modelling is full of monotony, travel and stress. But when she was offered the Jimmy Choo campaign, she didn’t hesitate. Her favourite thing about acting is creating emotions, and the Shimmer in the Dark advertising campaign is literally charged with emotions! Sensuality, confidence, fun, luxury, admiring looks and of course the magic of the sparkling night in New York.
Jimmy Choo X Annabel: a luxurious party!
Jimmy Choo’s creative director Sandra Choi says that Cara’s fun yet charming attitude perfectly symbolises the new collection. It was also the spirit of the Jimmy Choo X Annabel cocktail party, which transformed a three-story townhouse in New Bond Street into a disco club on 8 November. Guests were welcomed by neon signs and disco balls, and the colourful dance floor begs attendees to dance in the sensual sparkly shoes by Malaysian king Jimmy Choo!

Perhaps every woman loves beautiful shoes. I must confess that I personally am literally addicted to shoes and I could shop day and night! You know wherever I go, I simply must bring back some souvenir. And yes, you understood correctly... not a fridge magnet!
The new collection IWANTCHOO! is inspired by the environment of the bustling New York and along with the main representative of the campaign, Cara Delevigne, it evokes the mood of tumultuous 70's, which I as a woman full of passion really enjoy! The statement shoes lush with shiny applications are in my opinion suited to almost any evening event including the theatre. Only I would save such sparkle for the evening hours, so that at late Sunday brunch at Café Savoy they would not confuse one with a member of a dancing troupe.
