Luxury fabrics also used by Dior

The handcrafting and selection of exclusive materials was evident at first glance. Zuzana Kubíčková uses fabrics from the Italian workshop Ricamficio Paolo, which supplies textiles for luxury fashion houses like Dior, Chloé and Burberry.

The pastel colour palette dominated the collection. There were regal gowns reminiscent of Baroque canvases, and the primary materials were velvet, embroidered tulle, lace, silk and sequins.

Hand crafting and hours of honest labour

Zuzana Kubíčková’s gowns made of hand-embroidered materials, with various applied motifs, are hand-decorated with floral appliques and beads. The highlight of the new collection is a stunning floor-length dress with hand-embroidered embellishments and flora appliques, with each flower in a different colour. It is no surprise that it took 60 hours to make the luxurious gown.

“My customers generally desire an exceptional and personalised gown, but they also think practically and want the dress to be timeless.”

This talented designer has certainly fulfilled her customers’ desires with this luxurious new collection. 

For the autumn of 2018, Lucie is preparing an indoor tour to provide support for a new and luxurious record. Advance sales of the tickets through the Ticketportal network already began on the 20th April 2017. The tour will begin on 13th November in Ostravar Arena in Ostrava, on 18th November the boys will perform at the DRFG Arena in Brno. You can see them on the 24th of November at the O2 arena in Prague. The band has not yet confirmed that this program is final - there is a chance that there will be more concerts, which would be great.

“Lucie will build on its greatest achievements. With their new repertoire and in cooperation with the best in their fields from both here and abroad,” Ladislav Vajdička from the BrainZone management assured, under which the legendary Czech band has transferred.

“Covering Lucie’s activities provides a high degree of motivation for our team. In collaboration with the musicians we want to put together the best examples of the band’s history and build a new story on it. The title EVOLUCIE is also based on this concept. We and our fans too look forward to new songs, albums and tours,” he added. His words have also appeared on Facebook.

The luxurious history of a Czech band

After the crystallisation of the initial period of their new personnel and their music style the Band entered the music scene with its first single recording in 1988. During the course of the next sixteen years the band released seven studio albums, two double concert albums and one selection of their hits.

From the 2nd October 2004, the group had a “planned creative break” that ended in December 2012. Fortunately!!

Just one concert this year

This year, Lucie planned to play just one concert, and that has already happened. On the 24th August Lucie played at the Soundtrack Festival that took place in Poděbrady. Lucie played for two hours, and the fans were delighted to listen to all their famous hits and to know that Lucie, after years of separation, is still going on strong!

That’s why we cannot wait to see them again on the 24th November next year. For those who have not yet attended Lucie’s concerts, we strongly recommend doing!
