Young, fresh Czech singers worth knowing

Adam Mišík

Does the name sound familiar? We’re not surprise. He’s the son of famous singer Vladimír Mišík. This young redhead is becoming increasingly more popular, and it’s obvious why. He has style, a luxurious voice and knows his way around show business. So far he’s released one CD, his 2014 debut album Parfém. We believe his musical career is set to continue. He’s already got flocks of fans with his pop and hipster image.

Voxel 

His real name is Václav Lebeda, but you have to admit that his artistic name sounds better. Voxel has been on the musical scene for a few years now, but he is not explicitly famous. We think his songs have charm and Voxel has a luxurious voice, so you should try to give him a listen. He’s a nice singer/songwriter – a younger version of Tomáš Klus. Maybe you’ll love it. In 2014 he released his solo album All Boom, and two years later released another album called Motýlí efekt.

Jaroslav Smejkal

This singer is a very interesting piece of work. He became famous in the SuperStar singing content, and even then it was obvious that something would become of him. And it’s true! Jaro filmed a luxurious video and he is not devoted to singing lessons, which is an admirable activity. Apart from his velvety voice, another characteristic is that he is almost entirely covered in tattoos, and often changes his hair colour into crazy creations. But his personality definitely isn’t that as extravagant as it may seem at first glance. Give him a listen. His gentle pop might appeal to you.
