Sarah Meyohas: The Art with Love
Sarah Meyohas was already famous before she created her latest works. She became known for visualizing the fluctuations of her stock exchange trades in real time. The series of these paintings are displayed in 303 Gallery, New York, under the simple and yet apt name “Stock Performance”.
Hypnotizing mirroring in the luxurious Speculations series
Now the artist has brought us something truly unique. She fascinated the world with an original series of luxurious pieces of art, titled Speculations. In particular, she created a sequence of objects using mirrors with unique angles. The carefully installed items form reflections in the mirrors, creating a perception of infinite depth. The results are nearly hypnotic, captivating pieces of art.
Examples of these highly luxurious pieces include a composition of pink and red rose petals or yellow flowers, a mysterious haze of blue smoke, or a simple yellow composition with a pair of hands holding a mirror. Romantic themes then transition also to objects with a slight tinge of erotica and lust – for instance in a composition depicting a woman’s legs and strawberries.
