The People's Republic of China has reason to celebrate. Although they had been decimated by the coronavirus pandemic at the beginning of the year, they quickly gained control of the epidemiological situation and the year 2020 ends in a big way for them. Chinese exports are attacking record numbers and in November, they have seen the biggest growth since February 2018. Apparently, this success is mainly due to the high global demand for long-distance technologies. In the penultimate month of the year, Chinese exports grew by 21.1% year on year, which significantly exceeded the analysts' expectations. In October, the numbers increased by 11.4% compared to the previous year. Chinese imports grew as well, by 4 and a half percent year on year.
More children are returning to Czech schools today

The question is, though, for how long? Today, schools in the Czech Republic are moving to the third DOG (Anti-Epidemic System) level. Yesterday, however, the national average in this system jumped to 64, which is a fourth level figure. If the number doesn't fall below 60 in the next two days, it could mean a tightening of anti-epidemic measures later this week. During Sunday, there were 1,113 confirmed new cases of coronavirus in the Czech Republic, which is about 40 more than a week ago.
What is changing in Czech education system from today? At high schools, conservatories and higher vocational schools, alternating full-time teaching on a weekly basis is about to begin. A maximum of 20 first-year university students per group can also return to their classes. Starting today, art schools, language schools and leisure centers can provide lessons for up to 9 people. Up until now, only solo lessons have been possible.

The popularity of newly elected US President Joe Biden keeps growing. In this regard, the 78-year-old Scranton native managed to beat his opponent in the November presidential election. The difference between Biden and Trump is striking. A new Gallup poll found that the president-elect has a positive rating in 55% of cases and a negative rating in only 41 percent. The same survey gives incumbent President Trump the opposite, 42% positive reviews and 57 percent of negative opinions. Just before this year's presidential election, 46 percent of respondents gave Trump a positive rating. He enjoyed the greatest popularity among respondents in 2016, after winning the presidential election over Hillary Clinton. At that time, 50% of Americans rated Trump favorably.

Apple isn't afraid to face its problems. The fact that the company has once again offered its customers a helping hand is proof of that. After launching the AirPods Defective Pairs Exchange Program last month, the technology giant has now begun replacing Apple iPhone 11 displays. Due to problems with the display module, some pieces produced in the period from November 2019 to May 2020 are said to react poorly to touch. If you are an iPhone 11 owner, you can enter your phone's serial number online to see if you are eligible for a repair. Apple even goes so far as to refund money to smartphone owners who have already paid for repairs to have this bug fixed earlier this year.

One of the most popular athletes in the world, boxer Floyd Mayweather, will return to the ring for an exhibition duel this year. The name of his opponent will probably be a surprise for most people. It is the 25-years old American YouTuber Logan Paul. He has more than 22 million subscribers on YouTube and has already played two boxing matches with another creator on this video platform, KSI. The match will take place on February 20, and for the first 1 million viewers, the PPV (pay-per view) broadcast will cost $ 25 (approximately CZK 550). Its price should climb up to $ 70 (approximately 1,530 Czech crowns) just before the match.

Aptera is back with a car model that is about to stun every driver passing it on the roads. The three-wheel futuristic solar vehicle should have an impressive range of up to 1,600 kilometers, that is if you have solar panels at your disposal to charge it with. This ambitious company has been aiming for such a technological breakthrough for more than a decade. In 2011, it was unable to secure its funding and ceased operation. However, it seems that the developers haven't given up and things are looking very promising with the new vehicle. The car for two people has a solar roof field, which should produce enough energy to cover more than 70 kilometers in a single day.
"With Aptera's Never Charge technology, you are driven by the power of the sun. Our built-in solar array keeps your battery pack topped off and anywhere you want to go, you just go,"
said Aptera co-founder, Chris Anthony, in a press release. The price of the futuristic car should be in the range of 25,900 to 46,000 US dollars (565 thousand - 1 million Czech crowns). Aptera should be available on the marker next year.
