It may have been a while since you last heard of pop singer Katy Perry. In August, she and her her partner of many years Orlando Bloom welcomed a daughter named Daisy Dove. It's the American singer's first child, which is why she decided to give the baby a magnificent welcome and bring her straight to the family's new house, located in the foothills of Santa Ynez in Montecito. Four adjoining plots, six bedrooms, a tennis court, a swimming pool and views of the Pacific Ocean... The almost 9-acre plot leaves no space for boredom.
The main house is in the Mediterranean style
The house was built at the turn of the 1930s and the famous couple decided to keep the original aesthetics. The characteristic white stucco exterior and the red roof are framed by tall palm trees. The entrance to the house leads through a magnificent French door. Sand-colored wooden floors and solid beams on the ceilings ensure the interior gives a pleasant and cozy impression.

A piano that overlooks the ocean
The French door helps supply the living room with enough sunlight to showcase its cream-colored design. Situated in the corner of the room, a grand piano invites the the family to enjoy a piano player's peformance from a brick terrace, shaded by old oaks. Views of the garden and the Pacific Ocean are guaranteed.
A whole lot of wallpapers
Wallpaper is a timeless element that can perfectly replace interior accessories. And the designers went really wild on it in the kitchen. Green patterned wallpaper covers all four walls and even the ceiling. The Mediterranean style is underlined by rustic cabinets painted in sea green and a wooden kitchen island in a natural color. The fresh interior is complemented by white furniture and a chaise longue with a wicker table. In such a kitchen, cooking will easily become your favorite hobby.

Don't expect to find any views from this room; the windows are shaded by trees. No distractions are allowed in this study. Unless you consider staring at the unique burgundy ceiling that goes perfectly with the dark leather and massive carpet a distraction.

Outdoor fun
Quarantine and government regulations won't complicate life for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom too much. In their free time, they can play tennis, sunbathe by the pool or stroll through the large garden with several fountains. If the famous couple invited you for a visit, you definitely wouldn't have to worry about parking space. There's plenty of space on the wide driveway and the garage fits four cars!

The singer returns to her birthplace
The actor and pop star plan to use the house in Montecit as their primary home. Katy Perry was born in this area and fell in love with it. Maybe that's why she's recently put up her other house in Beverly Hills for sale. Montecito has long been a favorite among celebrities. Katy's neighbours will be famous TV host Ellen DeGeneres, singer Ariana Grande or the royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The property cost them $ 14.2 million, which is about 383 million crowns.
