Looking at the SS2021 collection, one thing is certain: Some will be overjoyed, others will find themselves on the verge of tears! The trend of big shoulders plays a dominant role in the new collection of the French fashion house Balmain, and let's be honest with ourselves here - not everyone is a fan of the eighties. Some of us actually prefer shoulders that can pass through a door. There are a few gems for everyone, though!
Women of different ages, dazzling glitter, sexy mini dresses in sweet colors, sleek elegance, timeless denim, chic business look but also unfettered models shining with neon colors. Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing prepared a luxurious cocktail full of juicy fashion trends pleasing to the eye!

Overall, the collection wouldn't be so bad, if it didn't have a couple of huge flaws. Alright, stuffed shoulders were trendy back in the eighties. Balmain took them to the next level this year, which I don't mind horribly, even if some of the models would look better with normal shoulders. But what hit me in the face right at the beginning are the neon colors. I'm not gonna lie, I like bright colors in the summer. It's hilarious and playful, but only to a certain extent. I think Pierre Balmain can be glad he didn't live to see this mess. It may seem modern, but enough is enough. Don't you think?
Is this supposed to be for men, or for women? I mean, with all the genders that exist today, I guess men aren't sure if they're really men and women, on the other hand, wish to become men... Fine, but for God's sake, why is this person about whom I can't decide whether they are male or female so awfully green? How about throwing a white T-shirt on, would it have been such a problem?
I've recently seen this stupid show - Co na to Češi (ed.note.: Czech version of Family Feud). The participants were asked the question "what doesn't belong on the red carpet". And even this old hillbily knew that shorts totally don't belong there! I'm not saying that this outfit should be worn in high society, but the combination of sports and elegant clothing has been popular in recent years. In this form, though, it gets a loud no from me!
I don't have anything against the color red, but this Little Red Riding Hood looks like she's on her way form a BDSM club. She glistens like a dog's ballsack, and what's more, most of the color of her outfit seems to have gone off in the washing machine.
special kind of images for a certain amount of time, and when one's eyes were starting to hurt, a hidden pattern finally popped out? And it made one's head spin. So that's the impression I get from the white model. I'm staring at it, squinting like an idiot, but failing to see the hidden surprise...
I've only just gotten used to the stuffed shoulders that remind me of a bat, and this discophilic madness slaps me in the face. I wonder if there is a button sewn up somewhere in the back, which, when I press it, makes the lights start flashing like on a Christmas tree.
