Natali Ruden dedicated the new collection to Ukraine and its declaration of independence. And although she admitted she'd been working on it for only two months, you would hardly know!
There is no doubt that Natali Ruden is one of the most successful Ukrainians in the Czech Republic. This is one of the reasons why the Embassy of Ukraine asked her to design a special collection for the 28th anniversary of the restoration of Ukrainian independence. Natali Ruden decided to get inspired by the nature, culture and traditions of her native Ukraine and presented a collection of 30 women's and 3 children's models at the luxurious Hilton hotel.
,,I come from Kiev. Kiev is an incredibly beautiful historic city with stunning colors. It combines a bright blue sky, golden domes of churches and a sea of green. It also influenced me a lot in my artistic sense,”
explains Natali Ruden how Ukraine was reflected in her design work.

Starring garlands and blue with yellow
In her latest collection, Natali Ruden works primarily with the colors of the Ukrainian flag, so it is already dominated by blue and yellow. An integral part of all luxury models was a wreath with flowers, which is also an indispensable piece of traditional Ukrainian costumes.

Beauty queens and the best of modeling
Models from the Džerela collection were presented by Kateřina Kasanová, Kateřina Votavová, Karolína Mališová, Veronika Chmelířová, Andrea Prchalová, Hana Vágnerová, Denisa Spergerová or Nikol Švantnerová.
And just from Nikol's model we were simply astonished!

Time to have a taste: Tasting traditional dishes
Guests could enjoy the luxury show not only with their eyes, but also taste buds! After the show they were allowed to taste traditional Ukrainian dishes directly from the chef at the Hilton Hotel in Kiev Oleha Paljuta. He arrived in Prague especially at the invitation of the Embassy of Ukraine.
