Rebel Miley Cyrus really hit it out of the park this time... at least as far as the dress is concerned! She could not be overlooked in her luxurious sparkling Mugler dress and was among the best dressed stars of the night. But the make-up and hair, Miley, that still doesn't quite sit well with us...
Beautiful Sofia Carson in a waterfall of red
This red treat presented by Sofie Carson, clad in a luxurious dress by Giambattista Valli is really doing it for us. We kinda wonder if it isn't a bit too much for the VMAs, but you know what? The sophistication must be duly appreciated! The color of passion fits the dark-haired Sofia perfectly, and we must praise the choice of minimalistic accessories too, and there is nothing else to add.
Nicole Richie: A load of vitamins
The American singer and actress Nicole Richie dressed in a sexy, bright green dress by Cong Tri. And it was a real load of green! As she jokingly pointed out on her Instagram, she represented all kinds of vegetables at MTV. Green may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we'll get through the vegetables happily and we issue a thumbs up for the sense of humor!
Bebe Rexha: Off the bicycle straight to the VMAs
Bebe Rexha is a rebel through and through! And while we might rip anybody else's head off and tear them to shreds (maybe with Lady Gaga's claws) for wearing bike shorts to an award ceremony, we accept them on Bebe. This pair-up in the form of shorts and a stylish jacket with lacing packs a punch. We praise the luxurious make-up and hair too. But the nails, Bebe, the nails...

Bella Hadid: A misstep of gigantic proportions
No, no and no! Bella Hadid probably wanted to show off her slim figure like Miley Cyrus, but she missed the mark quite a bit! The transparent top comes off as incredibly shallow at first glance and we're not into it at all. Good for a nightclub, but not the VMAs!

Madison Beer: Too much, too little, just right?
Regarding this young songwriter, we still can't really decide. Cheap, sexy, just right, amazing? Ehm. Maybe if the luxurious piece by Mugler wasn't barely long enough to cover the butt, we'd be set. But this way it leaves us indecisive and not even the black Stuart Weitzman pumps can save Madison's look. And we kind of feel like the scales are slowly tipping more towards Bella...

Lady Gaga must have come to the VMAs straight from a space mission, otherwise we cannot explain that space suit by Area. Or not.. we can! There is only one Lady Gaga and her uniqueness is one of the things that got her the first time MTV Tricon award at the VMAs for her engagement in music, acting, fashion and activism. And so we've decided to praise her to the heavens! Because we really wouldn't like to get smacked by one of those platforms, to be real with you...

God help us all!
I don't know what to think about her. Lady Gaga has a gift from God. She can sing, act, pull in crowds. And most importantly, she can draw attention to herself at any time. Whether by behavior or by her appearance and that one above all, let's be real. Anyway, if this girl was twenty, I wouldn't even raise an eyebrow, but she's 34 years old! She should be over experiments of any kind. However, Gaga did not disappoint and I look in vain for words and courage when looking at her outfits.
You know when there is an embarrassing scene in a film, when the main character acts like a dumbass and you are feeling second-hand embarrassment in her stead? This is how I feel when looking at her. Except she stands proud. She stands behind what he says, what she does and what she looks like. Otherwise she wouldn't have come there. On top of that, she is admired by the whole world.
Dancing and singing in a mask
The VMA awards ceremony was filled with calls to combat the spread of the coronavirus or racial injustice. Gaga took on the health of Americans and the whole world. Her masks are really original and imaginative, I just don't understand how she manages to dance and sing in them.
But back to the dresses. I just can't deal with this craziness. Girl appeared on stage five times in total and each time in a more outlandish thing. Maybe I'll keep quiet about those stilts, I think she may attend special walking classes for those, so that she doesn't kill herself. But these rainbow ostrich dresses made our of feathers and probably nothing else? I feel like my head is spinning at a mere glance. And the mask reminds me of Alien. Well, tell me, where would you even go in this?
So white can be white
What am I suppose to see here? An angel? Virgin (Mary)? A wedding? I don't know, but even though white is the color of innocence and purity, this scares me. Aside from reminding me of Dáda Patrasová from The Visitors.
UFOs exist
I don't believe in aliens or flying saucers and the like, but... looking at the singer I fear that she's building a space galaxy of the fourth kind, she's got t in the garden, and has been putting together a spaceship in her garage and her wardrobe's nearly done. I wouldn't be surprised if she'd already bought her own planet.
Princess frog
I don't like green too much, not everyone can pull it off. However, when I saw this photo, I said - yes, this is a woman who knows how to dress and look like a princess who looks really good. But it's easy to kill such beauty... You get that the vision of a beautiful being in an astonishing aristocratic gown was ruined for me by the mask. You get it, right?
When I saw the movie A Star is Born, I cried. I thought, this is so beautiful, this can't be Gaga. Then I concluded that the rebel has finally grown up... but I was wrong. I was very wrong.
