The Morpholio Board suite of applications represents dream software for interior designers, but also for other artists who find inspiration there. It is able to combine products saved in the library with a wide range of tools. It also offers creative designers the possibility of working anywhere in the world and also enables them to present their ideas wherever they are to anyone without any problems at all.

What can this luxury application do?

Morpholio Board contains a library of products which has been carefully selected by specialists at the forefront of these applications. These products also include extremely big name brands. The user can add their own images to these, combine them at will and thus create luxury collages of the perfect interiors.

In addition to this, the application allows you to add descriptions and your own drawings. It also includes an extensive panel of tools, a huge number of colours, textures and a lot of layers which allow for easier manipulation. As a result of this, the application is able to prepare a mood board – a presentation for the client which is intuitive, well-arranged and comprehensible.

The Morpholio Board application is linked to social networks, a fact which simplifies sharing of luxury designs and facilitates immediate communication with the other party.

Creation and the aim of the application

The company was created in 2011 thanks to a group of architects and academics who wanted to find a way to combine the creative process with development of the cloud and the ubiquitous social networks.

The aim was to create a new platform for creation, presentation and collaboration between creative people and also to provide the possibility of immediate reaction. And it seems that the luxury work has been a success. Despite the fact that there are many similar applications on the market, Morpholio has been indicated by professional magazines as the best and also as the most helpful application which has ever been developed in this segment. And what is much more important, it is also highly praised by the users themselves.

Luxury works by the artist who operates under the nickname JR can be seen the world over. You will not however find them in galleries or even in exhibition halls. This is to say that JR exhibits his work on the streets, because according to him, “the streets are the largest gallery in the world”.

JR was born in February 1983 and started to take an interest in street art as teenager, who did not want to change the world, but who longed to leave his mark in public spaces. He did not however have any inkling of how successful he would be at that in the future back then. 

JR has in particular made his mark in the world of art through the originality and meaningfulness of the projects he has implemented. He is known for his negative view of reductive works promoted via advertising and the media and for questioning widespread prejudices.

The start of contemporary luxury art

JR started to photograph his drawings at the age of 17 and applied the resulting photographs to external walls. While travelling around Europe, he got to know a lot of creative people who continuously helped him to progress. He started to take an interest in the limits of his works, the dimensions, materials, surfaces and structure of cities.

Between 2004 and 2006, he created the luxury collection Portrait of a Generation depicting young people from Paris. He installed these portraits of people who inspired him in huge dimensions on the roofs of Parisian houses. In doing so, he told the world through his art: In the streets, we are reaching out to those people who don’t go to museums.

Luxury works all over the world

You can see huge portraits of people put there by JR in many locations all over the world.

In 2010, he won the TED prize and he invested the USD 100,000 which the prize represented into the new project Inside Out, which was a global art initiative allowing thousands of people all over the world to speak to their community via portraits displayed in public places. He for example also presented himself and his work with this project on Times Square in New York.

Apart from other works, he created luxury installations for the Olympic Games which were held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and his collaboration with the New York City Ballet is well known.
