Monkeypox case appeared in the Philippines

Prague struggled with heavy rains, airport stopped
On Sunday, heavy showers arrived from the west to the Czech Republic, flooding basements, streets and sidewalks. Torrential rain, where in many places it reached a total of 80 millimeters per square meter in two hours, complicated the situation in transport too.
Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague had to interrupt check-in, which caused a delay in numerous flights, however only of a few hours, then the operation was resumed. Flash flood also limited traffic on the main D1 motorway from Prague to Brno and further to Ostrava. Traffic here was reduced to one lane in some sections, writes CTK web.
Zelensky wants to create a buffer zone in the Kursk region
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Sunday that the goal of a bold military incursion into the Russian Kursk region is to create a buffer zone that will prevent further attacks by Moscow across the border. This was the first time that Zelensky clearly specified the goal of the operation, which was launched on August 6. Earlier he stated that the aim of the operation is to protect the villages in the border Sumy region from constant shelling.
"Now our main task in defensive operations overall: destroy as much of the Russian war potential as possible and lead maximum counteroffensive actions. This also includes the creation of a buffer zone on the territory of the aggressor - in the Kursk region,"
said Volodymyr Zelenskyj in his nighttime speech according to the AP agency.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Tel Aviv on another Middle East tour on Sunday to advocate for a ceasefire in Gaza, but Hamas expressed doubts about this mission just a few hours after his arrival and accused Israel of undermining his efforts.
