In his SS19 collection, Roland Mouret defines sensuality, bravery, ownership and individuality in a way that strengthens the position of women. One of these women who became inspiration to the designer is also Emma Gonzalez. She is a young American activist and campaigner for arms control, who in 2018 survived the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School.

Lighter than air...

The French designer presented luxury romantic models which are lighter than air, enjoying the freedom of movement, playing with the materials and styles. In the SS19 collection you can find romantic floating dresses sensuously revealing the shoulders, elegant suits, pieces of translucent fabrics, luxurious and stylish wraps and blouses or trousers with trouser-legs wider than in times of their greatest glory!

Placing a bet on pea-green

In the question of colours, Roland Mouret reached not only for the classics, but also tender pastel colours and, which is a shame, for the frequently-neglected pea green. The luxury models are supplemented by necklaces, brooches and badges produced in cooperation with artist Mehrnoosh Khadivi from Craftwork Studios.
