The eleventh year of the Metamorphoses calendar charity project is inspired by pop-culture, primarily film. That means it will be full of cult characters from cinematic megahits such as Titanic, Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Rocky, Avatar or Amélie from Montmartre. You have a unique opportunity to see the protagonists in the process of transformation...
This time, Anna Fialová, Marie Doležalová, Marek Zelinka, Martin Hofmann, Igor Orozovič and a selection of other celebrities will be transformed beyond recognition in support of Archa Chantal Foundation projects, together with its founder Chantal Poullain. Realization of the calendar is in full swing; just like in previous years, a team of experienced professionals is working under the leadership of the well-known photographer Petr Kurečka.
Finally, it's his turn!
Igor Orozovic is overjoyed that he could finally become one of the faces of the calendar. He admitted that he had longed for it for a very long time.

"I've been following the work of the Chantal Poullain Foundation from a distance and I have always been amazed to see what the team around Petr Kurečka could conjure up from my colleagues. I've been secretly hoping that it would be my turn one day... And now the time has finally come,"
the actor rejoices, adding that while he doesn't watch X-Men, he likes Hugh Jackman.

"Quarrels" during the photo shoot
But the cooperation between the actor and the photographer didn't always go smoothly, as Igor admits. Of course, it was for charity, so their arguments supposedly remained on a friendly basis.
"We were always happily arguing away, mainly about what his expression should convey and how to achieve it. The mission of the calendar is serious! But the form is entertaining. And so was the photoshoot! At the same time, though, it is very professional and the atmosphere as well as the conditions are great. I enjoyed it. But I couldn't be a model. When I came home, I fell on my bed completely exhausted, as if I had just delivered a sport performance. And I started watching the X-Men," says Orozovic, who turned into Wolverine for a while - a mutant with amazing skills.

The goal
The calendar contributes to a good cause each year. Archa Chantal seeks to use the money from sales and auction to turn the plight of pediatric health care facilities into cozy, welcoming places, so that young patients can cope with hospitalization more easily, relieve their stress and overcome separation from their parents. For example, money from the sale of the Metamorphoses Calendar 2019 gave rise to the project Svět v písku (World in the Sand) in the children's wing in Uherské Hradiště Hospital, which is about to be completed.
“The Metamorphoses Calendar enters the second decade of its existence. I believe that people will love this year's transformations, inspired by film characters, and the proceeds from the sales of the calendar will enable us to carry out other planned projects next year,”
adds Šárka Nečasová, director of the Archa Chantal Foundation.

The Metamorphoses 2020 calendar will be available in the second half of November, traditionally in a larger and smaller format for CZK 350 and CZK 1,000.
