On your new address, you'll have plenty of options. Around Petřín, there are several excellent restaurants to choose from - for example, Strahov and Petřín are among the favorites. Not far from the Kinský Garden is the excellent Tapas Restaurant, where you can enjoy the best cheeses and salamis. If you get a taste for something more traditional, then head to Smíchov for the Vidličky a nože restaurant. You can order craft beer from the Matuška mini-brewery to go with the delicious Czech food.
If you prefer to sit outside, you can enjoy a chilled drink in the Klamovka garden restaurant.

The residence is right halfway between Ladronka Park and Petřín Gardens. It depends on you whether you decide to spend your afternoon on a walk or go skating or cycling to Ladronka, where a first-class 4-kilometer asphalt trail awaits your adventures. There's also an outdoor takeway window right next to the trail, where you can refresh yourself during sports activities. Another place to visit in the park is the outdoor gym The Gym House, which is open during even during the pandemic. However, its capacity is limited, so you'll need to make a reservation in advance. A one-time entry costs 130 CZK for an unlimited time.

Have you had enough of walking and would rather relax a little? How about taking a cable car to Petřín? It operates every day from 9 am to 8 pm in 15-minute intervals. All types of public transport tickets are valid for the ride.
In Prague 5 you'll find, among other things, Klamovka Park with a children's playground and an outdoor garden. Even if you stay close to home, your children will never get bore outside.

In addition to two popular Prague parks, you can take a pleasant walk to the Strahov Monastery (2.9 km) or visit the historic area of Prague Castle (3.3 km). And if you love gardens, trees and lots of greenery, this will definitely make you happy. Not far from Hřebeny is the Kinský Garden (Smíchov), which is part of the natural monument Petřín. You can visit here the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael from the second half of the 17th century, the Baroque statue of Hercules from the end of the 17th century or the columned sundial from 1686.
And there's more than just one garden. Right below Petřín, you'll find the Lobkowitz Garden in Malá Strana. A nice option for a walk from here is the Lobkowitz Palace with its beautiful gardens.
