Svetlana Kovalska Halova in Prague's Letna runs her own gallery and her paintings adorn the homes of world stars. Among her close friends are designer Natali Ruden, as well as Monica Bellucci. In her work, she focuses on modern art, and her uncle also maintains the family tradition of painting. Her works combine elegance, emotions and a unique style that appeals to collectors and art lovers.
The artist has been collaborating with designer Natali Ruden for many years. Their initial cooperation has turned into a long-term friendship. Everything started with the moment when Světlana needed a dress for an event that took place in Milan.
I was invited to a reception in Milan, which was held by Monica Bellucci for her sixtieth birthday. I needed to have a dress made for this event and Natali was recommended to me. I went to see her and we clicked right away. She made me two dresses instead of one right then,

Among other things, Natali Ruden also became her portrait model. At the last show named FUSION, Natali received her huge figurative painting as a gift. It took Svetlana almost three months to work on the painting. "I also have my uncle to help, but he only draws the backgrounds. I specialize in portraits. I always try to capture the gaze, expressions and energy in each one," she added.
This also suggests that her portraits are always intricate and world-class. The Italian diva, Monica Bellucci, is proud of her paintings and soon the Hollywood actor Kevin Costner will be as well.

Svetlana Kovalska Hálová has been living in the Czech Republic for 21 years. She has a son and a Czech husband. She is self-employed, working and studying. Thanks to her professional career, she has worked her way up to the owner of a gallery, located in Letná in Prague. "Our company has a gallery, of which I am the director and owner. We started by traveling with people who are engaged in art and can do some craft, abroad. Painters were doing courses with us. Now we are currently traveling to Algarve in Portugal, also to Italy, Greece, and most of all to Crete. We go there with a group of painters who paint on the coast with a local artist who does a master class," she explained.
And, despite her work beyond the Czech borders, she rates the Czech art scene very positively and gives space to young talents in her gallery.
In the Czech Republic there is currently a large representation of modern painters, which I am very pleased about. We give them space in our gallery. We choose unknown young painters, whose works we promote once a month with a vernissage. Recently, the work of Daira Luntc, who just graduated from the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, caught my attention the most. She is involved in the restoration of altars and paintings. However, she also paints herself and always transfers her mood into her paintings,
