It is no secret that the friendship of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid originated thanks to modelling. Now the world of modelling put in their path another opportunity - to excel together in the current FENDI FW 2017/2018 collection. Both beauties presented the luxurious and imaginative pieces and behind the lens stood the creative director of FENDI - Karl Lagerfeld himself!

The second joint campaign of the star duo, Kendall and Gigi
The FENDI collection is not the first joint endeavour of the Victoria Secret angels. In 2015 they were part of the exclusive collection which came to being by the cooperation of the luxury brand Balmain and the Swedish H&M. While the Balmain for H&M collection was made in the spirit of colourful punk and rock, the Fendi collection is in the spirit of elegance.
Elegant conservatism and sensual playfulness have a green light
Kendall and Gigi both put on the conservative as well as the more eye-catching pieces. The first definitely include a red maxi dress of chiffon with embroidery and a pleated skirt. The perfect look was finished off by the earrings and high boots above the knees in the same colour matching the dress. Among the more prominent pieces there was a playful top below the breasts made of knitted fabric or a dress presented by Kendall Jenner. Our attention was caught especially by the maxi dress from the most luxurious of materials - silk, organza or velvet.
Is FENDI presenting a return to the crazy eighties?
The blue lustrous dress with white decorations or the black chiffon piece, a pleated skirt and floral patterns worn by Kendall Jenner won our hearts and we consider them to be one of the most beautiful ones. But what we have quite hesitant feelings about, is a varnished-effect skirt with a hint of the eighties, presented by Gigi Hadid. However, simply adorable pieces are the luxurious coats with real fur, without which we cannot possibly imagine the autumn/winter FENDI collection.

Wearable pieces without the crazy plastic variations
The collection and work of Karel Lagerfeld for the FENDI brand is simply awesome. Finally we can witness wearable items without crazy plastic variations, as was the case for example in the Chanel collection.
Karl always chooses his muses. Previously it was Cara Delevigne and today we have the super duo, Kendall and Gigi. In the series of photos I was stricken by the expression of Kendall, because here and there, Gigi gave the impression of mutton dressed as lamb, sporting kind of plastic earrings as if from the eighties.
Most of all I admire the luxurious use of fur coats. The black one with brown baubles, the short mink with Bordeaux-white-black applications - simply stunning! In combination with classic-type handbags and the typical Fendi logo, this is, once again, perfection.
Apart from the unnecessarily voluminous skirts which will make women wearing size 38 and over look like whales, I approve of everything without any reservations whatsoever. And one last thing before I forget: to me, the sexiest dress is not the black transparent one worn by Kendall, but the grey coat with mink sleeves presented by Gigi. The strength is in casual elegance and a woman may not make an impression only by revealing too much...
