Claudia Schiffer, Helen Mirren, Tilda Swinton, Carla Bruni, Pharrell Williams, Valentino Garavani, Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Cara Delavingne, Gigi Hadid, Gigi Hadid, and other distinguished guests gathered at the Grand Palais in Paris to commemorate the memory of the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
The memorial Karl For Ever, organized by the luxury brands Chanel, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld, was a celebration of the fashion designer's life and reminded the world of his lifelong achievements.
The walls of the Grand Palais were decorated with black and white as well as color portraits of Karl Lagerfeld, mapping his journey from the very beginning, when he won the international Woolmark Prize as an unknown young designer in 1954, through his work in the luxurious fashion houses Chloé, Fendi and Chanel, to the last years of his life.
Part of Karl Lagerfeld's memorial was also a presentation, which pointed out significant moments of his fashion shows, interviews, as well as fragments from his creative work and private life.
Cara Delavingne, Helen Mirren and Tilda Swinton made an appearance on stage during the cerempnial, and singer Pharrell Williams with pianist Lang Lang entertained the guests with their artistic performance.
