There will be a unique performance at the Theater na Jezerce. Jaroslav Dušek will excel in it! The premiere is January 24th, 2019.
The is based on Jaroslav Rašín's book of the same name, The Glory of Machines and Cities. In the story of American engineers, a German editor and a Czech beekeeper, all the roles will be played by actor Jaroslav Dušek. There is no doubt about the fact that it will be a luxurious, poetic and funny show!
Jaromir Rašín was the nephew of the first Czechoslovak Finance Minister Alois Rašín, and his play basically predicted the future.
"Because it is about bees, it should be a tasty comedy, a spicy tragicomedy, a humming grotesque that occasionally stabs with a kind sting," explains Jaroslav Dušek, director of the new play and a representative of many characters, including the women. He has been at home at the Theater na Jezerce for more than 13 years.
The producer of the performance is the manager and actor of the Theater na Jezerce Jan Hrušínský. In addition to improviser Jaroslav Dušek, Petr Nikl is also involved in the production, who will bring in his art vision, and Ondřej Smeykal, who will be in charge of the luxurious musical and sound accompaniment.
The premiere of the theatrical adaptation of the book by Jaromír Rašín The Glory of Machines and Cities is on January 24th, 2019 in the TNJ.
