In these difficult times, many prominent personalities share their words of encouragement with the world. Among them Ivana Gottová, who still remembers all too well what it's like to worry about and take care of an elderly person. She's had first-hand experience with fighting for the life of a loved one.

The wife of the world-famous king of music, Karel Gott, sent an unabiguous message to everyone who's fighting for the lives of other people these days. To whose who put their lives at risk, knowing they might contract the illness. Mrs. Gott's words will give you chills all over your body:

"From the bottom of my heart, I would like to express my support and admiration to all those who are taking care of the sick elderly in hospitals and various facilities, as well as the healthy elderly at home these days. I know how much older people appreciate loving care or a helping hand, even if it were just assistance with shopping."

Recently, she herself went through difficult times. Those who've experienced something similar know what she's talking about. In her statement, she stresses the importance of helping older people who fall into the most vulnerable group and spending time with them. We should also respect these people and stay in touch with them as much as possible.

Big thanks with admiration on top

Ivana is a nurse, so she must have, for a moment, entertained the thought what it would be like if she had stayed in the profession. She must be able to imagine what doctors and nurses are experiencing during a regular shift. But how difficult it must be for them now, that's probably something only doctors and other staff currently working in hospitals can imagine. Thus any support they receive is like a gentle caress, and this carsss must have made them very happy:

"I truly admire and bow down to all the first-line healthcare workers who, while putting their own health at risk, are saving the lives of the most seriously ill. My deepest respect goes to all doctors, nurses, keepers, pharmacists, firefighters, policemen and shop assistants, who are putting in a lot of effort these days to keep us all safe and help us. I keep you and your families in my thoughts. Hang in there, and I wish you a lot of strength and energy. I also think of all the volunteers, medical students and everyone who's contributing in any way and lending a helping hand. Everyone, I take off my hat to you. I am touched by the unity of our nation!"

Gott's fans immediately responded to the text, avoiding, perhaps for the first in history, any negative comments aimed at her person.

"You are a trained nurse and no stranger to empathy. I believe you really mean these words,"

commented one of the fans. The widow of the most popular Czech singer also had a piece of news to share with the fans, to boost their mood in the time of quarantine.

"I believe that I will at least be able to please you with three beautiful and moving projects - hopefully you'll feel that way about them too - associated with my husband Karel in the autumn and winter."
