The combination of comfort and pure elegance gave rise to the new deluxe SS 2018 collection. This collection achieves technical perfection and innovation in relation to the sole, straps and particularly the material. The partnership has focused on sustainability and created shoes made from fully recyclable materials. Who carried out the lion’s share of the word? We have no doubt that it was innovator Phillipe Starck!
It seems that there is no branch that Phillipe Starck does not excel in. This French artist excels in the fields of product and technical design, deluxe furniture and interiors, architecture and also fashion design. He gained fame by using new materials and unusual solutions. Something that he has done once again. Can you think of anyone else presenting a deluxe and simultaneously fully recyclable shoes?
The ecological approach is not the only thing that makes the SS 2018 collection unique. The sandals are of a revolutionary design with elements of popular minimalism, typical for this inventive creator. The SS 2018 collection introduces innovations in the form of rounder edges and a simpler structure. The only vision of these brands is to let the shoes freely merge with you, which is why the smallest possible amount of material was used to make them.
Are you interested in the deluxe SS 2018 collection by the Brazilian Ipanema footwear brand and French innovator Pillipe Starck? You can buy these stylish sandals in selected boutiques for approximately CZK 960 – 1600. You can choose from classic colours such as black and white or more vivid tones, such as yellow, orange or light pink. So get shopping, summer is getting closer!
The new collection of summer shoes by Ipanema surprised me not only because it is made from recyclable materials, but also because it is so practical. It is clear from the colours that the shoes are multifunctional, because transparent or powder pink basically go with everything. Just look at Kim Kardashian West and her millions of pairs of transparent shoes!
But I was very surprised that waste can be used to produce such pure colours. I really like the powder pink flip-flops with the raised sole around the toes. These protect you from stubbing your toes on an inconspicuous stone on the beach. I still remember how I ran to the hotel first aid room with my bleeding foot covered in sand while wearing ordinary flip-flops .... a horrible experience! But this model by Phillipe Starck is the perfect solution.
The only thing I would be concerned about in this collection of shoes is the point where the straps are very thinly connected to the sole. It seems that even tripping slightly would cause the straps to break. And it is practically certain that I will be tripping over something, but that’s what happens when you are a an ungainly giraffe.....
