The H&M fashion brand surprised us with its unique and stylish Conscious Exclusive 2018 collection, which you will fall in love with at first glance and touch. This popular brand was inspired by the blooming gardens and contrasting elements at the house of creative artists Karin and Carla Larrson, which the team of designers portrayed perfectly on the fashionable clothing.
You will find several distinctive and unusual fashion items in this deluxe and fresh collection, such as the light long sleeveless dress with subtle embroidery, the long green dress embellished with deluxe floral metallic jacquard fabric or the irresistible trouser suit with flared trousers and a jacket with a sexy split. The clothing is embellished with floral jacquard, embroidery and abstract prints. Even the colour palette is very interesting. Choose from bold green, classic black and white or pastel blue and subtle powder pink. We are also interested in the subtle jewellery with the tulip motif, made from recycled silver.
“From the moment I found out about this collection I was truly astounded by what it represents, and the designs are similarly impressive. Fashion and sustainability are no longer conflicting concepts. I think that reuse and recycling are an important initiative in the field of fashion. The fact that trendy designs are made from recycled materials is truly inspiring,” says Christy Turlington Burns.
This is the seventh deluxe H&M Conscious Exclusive collection, which consists of beautifully executed lady’s clothing, underwear, shoes and accessories, which reflect the balance between strength and softness. The H&M Company is partial to fashionable and deluxe materials, which make sense. This year it is introducing two new materials alongside its organic wool, organic cotton, organic silk, TENCEL™ fabric and recycled polyester – recycled silver and ECONYL®, which is 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from fishing nets and other nylon waste.
I was quite shocked by H&M in a completely different coat. A brand orientated towards the masses has started to travel in another direction: more deluxe and simultaneously recyclable. A truly interesting combination. It certainly goes hand in hand with the fact that the economy is doing well, but will the new Conscious Exclusive 2018 collection re-direct the masses?
I liked the model with the loose white shirt combined with a mint green high-waisted skirt. The ideal choice for warmer spring days in the city. What I would cross out of my shopping list is the pointed slippers. Are we living in a Turkish telenovela? This is evidently some sort of artistic extravagance, just so you can’t say that the collection is too elegant and normal. I would also definitely pull that black mini dress swathed in lace out of the wardrobe. I just worry that those sleeves are too loose. No one wants to look like a walking black curtain!
What I would certainly eliminate is the shiny dresses and blouses. Let me say this simply: I hate artificial and synthetic materials and they look cheap. So I would NEVER EVER consider these items!
