Which trends will enjoy success this Christmas?
A general trend in recent times and thus also this year is a return to nature. Above all, natural motifs are appearing, be this in the form of materials or folklore traditions. Together with this, interest in Czech products is dominant, be this interest in traditional decorations, Christmas trees, nativity scenes, mistletoe or other traditional Christmas items and customs.
Which decorations do you think will be most popular on the Christmas table?
Above all candles, candlesticks which are able to evoke a festive evening atmosphere. Which materials will we come across? Most materials are natural – wood and fabrics – complemented by glass and metal.
Which colour is in for Christmas 2017?
The colour of this Christmas is a combination of shades of white and green.
What are the new features in the field of advent arrangements, decorations or flowers?
A permanent feature here is the advent wreath which comes in many forms. Use is made of classic fir branches, but also pine, holly, moss, pine cones, bark, fabric and various other types of twigs.
Could you give us a few tips on how to decorate our interior?
The moment the advent wreath is on the table and decoration of the tree is still a long way off, it is nice to have a few branches in a vase, for example in combination with holly. It looks effective and above all gives off a pleasant fragrance throughout the whole of your flat.
Do you think that the traditional Czech Christmas is predominant in our country?
That has been the case in recent years.
Please describe what, in your opinion, the most extravagant Christmas decorations look like.
That is difficult to describe as we all have slightly different ideas about what extravagant means. I personally regard extravagant decorations as anything which goes beyond the conventional concept of Christmas.
An artificial Christmas tree or a real one?
A real one of course.
What does a luxury Christmas mean for you?
A luxury Christmas is a Christmas you spend together with your family.
