Monaco as the country of Grand Prix

One of the point of interest is that several F1 racers not only live in the luxurious Monaco itself, but that they were also born there. For Monegasque people Formula 1 is part of their life. One must mention Charles Lecler, Robert Doornbos who raced through the streets of Monaco in 2005, Olivier Berett who in 1994 finished on the 8. place André Testut also has a Monégasque nationality. Also famous is the name of Louis Chiron, appearing among formula 1 winners in the years 1899-1979.

Who is on the list of Formula One Grand Prix winners?

Inthe lead is so far Ayrton Senna, in terms of number of wins. 5 victories were achieved by Graham Hill and Michael Schumacher. 4 victories by Alain Prost. 3 victories were achievedby Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart and Nico Rosberg. Twice the first place was won by Juan Manuel Fangio, Maurice Trintignant, Niki Lauda, Jody Scheckter, David Cloulthard, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel.

This luxurious racer inherited the passion for motor sport from his father, go-karting and driving uphill racer. Sebastian Vettel drove his first formula kilometres in a BMW. 2011 was a breakthrough year. He took up the leading position, blocked everyone else - and won. In 2017 he added another victory. At this year´s Grand Prix he will show them all!
