Flower romance and wild rock style: Moschino SS 2018

If I think about how to describe the new SS 2018 collection from the Moschino fashion house, it is quite complicated. There are so many things that I don’t know where to begin. But the stars were definitely Bella and Gigi Hadid, who presented the models perfectly and with great pride and enthusiasm.

Rockers, ballet dancers, “My Little Pony” and flowers
All these words describe the luxurious Moschino show. I have to mention the flowers first of all, because we think they are lots of fun. But there is probably nothing as ordinary as a flower design depicting spring and summer. This may be true, but the attention Moschino gives to these flowers takes your breath away. Dresses bloom luxuriously like giant lilies, and also other flowers portrayed as a wrapped bouquet. The models fitted beautifully within them and emphasised their beauty. You could also see dresses in the style of a beautiful butterfly.
Plenty of chains, accessories and kitsch
But the starring role was played by the luxurious rock style, ruled by coloured tulle skirts, belts with silver appliqué or lettering, leather tops and details and also “fishnet” tights, which are essential for this style. Shoes with various luxury silver studs, making them look “tough” and giving them and edge, were also a distinctive detail.
And where did the designers get the idea to integrate the iconic pony into their collection? To give the collection a little cuteness.
“It’s a small girls who loves a small pony, but she gradually becomes tougher and more mature,” Gerber said.
But extravagance belongs to this brand, so we don’t mind, on the contrary. The SS 2018 collection is luxurious, magical, stylish, and most importantly, interesting.

Moschino and its rock/flower opera: WOW is the word! Several models from this collection caught my eye! I will try to describe at least three of them, which are the most exclusive in my opinion.
Gigi Hadid in a model looking like a pink Barbie doll in feathers and a tough leather jacket and hat. I would easily wear this model to any party. Whether it was a birthday party or a christening party for a CD by the Kabát band. This outfit is essentially exceptional and should enjoy the attention it attracts.
A coat embellished with flowers. Yes, I know it may be too much. But it’s so beautiful and romantic!!! I don't care if they consign me to the madhouse, I would enjoy wearing this all spring, even on gloomy days. Beautiful!
And lastly, the highlight of the show. A purple dress reminiscent of a tulip. Ladies, hand on heart: this is exactly what we dreamed of as little girls. This dress would certainly be appropriate for a prestigious ball, reception or even for a red carpet full of photographers. Bravo!
